Reassembly farmer2/20/2024 The old decoupling method, with bits of hull connecting the deadweight to the ejector seat, is still viable for AI ships. Also, I haven't seen the AI use decoupler blocks ever, so perhaps use them only for your campaign ship. Eventually, these delayed spinners were banned too, but those designs certainly made an impression on the tournament community. ![]() Delayed spinners were ships that spun quickly once their counterweights were ejected, these designs evaded tournament rules banning traditional spinners. For the brawlers, a small escape pod or kiting ship contained the core, and could be ejected if the outer hull sustained a lot of damage. These submissions were either large brawling ships with ejectable cores, or delayed spinner designs. As a tournament player, I've noticed several tournament submissions which implemented the idea before decouplers were officially included via the Fields DLC, those ships used thin strips of hull which would split the ship when destroyed. You can stay in pilot mode (and avoid command mode) this way.ģ.Yes, the whole ship would have to be designed around effective use of decouplers. You can try this yourself by piloting your own carrier, entering designs into your cue, and start producing ships. Each station and carrier has their own cue they'll loop through, and will wait until they're accumulated enough R before activating their factories. To access the production loop, you must select the station/carrier in command mode (enter it by pressing "3"), the slots will appear by the top-right of the screen. You order friendly stations and carriers to produce specific ships, they'll loop through the list you give them. Stations and carriers (ships with factories) will automatically produce ships from your blueprint library, if no designs are cued. But sometimes you just need to jump into it. ![]() If you do leave on enemy station without access to plants, and doesn't have any solar panels or seed launchers, and no wrecks are nearby to salvage, then the station won't spawn more enemies ever.Ģ. Its always sketchy to take apart your firearm or firearm components for the first time. Factions can harvest R from wrecks of other ships, as well as generate their own if they're Farmer or Tinkrell. Destroying all opposing ships and stations equipped with factories will prevent more from spawning. I forgot the specific size of the simulation region, but it's a couple sectors wide. The active simulation area is a large square around your ship. The game in unable to simulate the entire map, only the surrounding area around the player in the campaign.
